PGDM- A QUALITY ALTERNATIVE
I explained to them the various aspects of the programme and both the father and daughter were greatly impressed by the state-of-the-art infrastructure like classrooms, library, computer lab, reading room, etc. at the Institute. The young girl said, "Sir, this looks like an American institution." I was flattered but told her, "This may look like an American institute, but this is cent percent Indian and our endeavour is to impart Management education of International Standards."
The father hesitatingly asked a question, "Sir, you give only Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and not an MBA degree. Why don't you give a prestigious MBA degree which looks more attractive?" In all sincerity, I explained to them the advantages and superiority of a PGDM programme. They felt satisfied and promised to come next week for admission.
